Sean Sweeney launched himself into the international CrossFit community with an exciting showing at the 2016 CrossFit Games!  Rocking his signature cowboy hat, the "CrossFit Cowboy" immediately captured the imagination and won the hearts of fans around the world, but especially in his home state of Nevada.

Sean joined Team BeaverFit in early 2016.  His background as a veteran, his authentic roots in Northern Nevada, his humble approach to celebrity and his iron-clad commitment to integrity make him a perfect fit on Team BeaverFit and a great ambassador for BeaverFit's hard-earned reputation as an elite provider of critical training equipment for the US Military.

Sean's history with CrossFit  mirrors both BeaverFit's and CrossFit's own military roots; his first workout was while he was serving in the Navy in Pensacola, Florida.

Since committing himself full-time to the CrossFit lifestyle, Sean's ascent has been rapid.  He qualified for the 2014 CrossFit Games Regionals on a Mid-Atlantic team, finishing in 5th place, missing the Games by 2 spots.  Later in 2014, Sean opened his own Box, CrossFit Powerstroke, and he went on to place 2nd in the Southwest Region during the 2015 CrossFit Games Open, and was named Fittest Man in Nevada.  He then excruciatingly missed the 2015 CrossFit Games by one spot, finishing in 6th place in the 2015 CrossFit Games South Regional.

Fired up by the near miss, Sean took 2016 by storm, finishing 4th in the 2016 CrossFit Games South Regional, and then exploding at the 2016 Games and finishing 30th in the world!
